Blackosh– RVOCHI VICHRY- from guitar player Petr Hosek original guitar player of Czech band Root and current member of Masters Hammer- 7 inch record- two tracks- Facebook.com/blackosh- eternal-death.com – two songs right? (ed.- yes only two). Or are there more? (ed.- no, like I said, only two. pay attention). I’m going to pass this release onto my friend Jerry “The Lap” and ask him to write a few words. Here goes “I’ve heard better croaking from a frog I stepped on last August in Minimal Park. Yes, its named Minimal park after Jeremy and Darcy Minimal.” Okay , now back to me your trusty reviewer. Jerry goes on for another five to ten minutes about how he saw two people humping in that park one time and that he thinks the lady was his old high school spanish teacher. I knew there was a reason why I don’t let him review music even though he bugs me every week. Here’s what I think of this release: I like “Kult Latrina” the best of the two. The first four minutes of the song is really good. It reminds me of this cult we had in our town when I was a kid. Actually there were two in town at the time. The Moonies, of course and the Church of the Perpetual Eye. The Perp Eye as we called it. They had their own hymnals and everything. See the whole deal started with this local band. Larry and the Beach Bums. It evolved into a cult with animal sacrifices, many lives ruined and some people ending up in jail. This release would have fit in with those hymnals. This band could have written for the Church. Is the Perp Eye coming back? We’ll see.
