Hello from Champaign Illinois!

I recently bought a CD, yeah that’s right a Compact Disc, of the first Queen Album. It’s been re-released and since I didn’t have it in my collection, I thought what the hell, I’ll pick it up. Yeah, I know, another re-issue of an older Album, with bonus tracks. I know it’s a rip-off, but like I said, I didn’t already own it. The reason I bring this up, especially now during our final episode of Season 4 of SLTM (the Podcast), is that one thing really irritates me about buying CD’s. Oh sure the price is still way too high, and the record companies have yet to grasp that even in a dying business. I mean, come on, get with the program you jags, make it somewhat close to the price for the download so that people have to decide which version they would like. I know it costs more to make and ship, but why not make it a tough decision for the consumer. Anyway, on to my point. I really fucking hate those stickers on the top of CD’s. Why the hell they are still there I have no idea. I don’t know why I have to spend ten minutes trying to pick them off, scrapping and scratching like an idiot trying to tear away the last few morsels in a package of Cupcakes. It’s unnecessary to have that sticker, what purpose does it serve? Oh, the artist and title of the CD? Well, they are right there on the spine ya dipshit. Plus the sticker always leaves a sticky film somewhere on the case. Here’s what the labels and manufacturing companies need to do. Do away with the stupid sticker, save a few pennies. Also get rid of the plastic CD case, go slim line or use recycled materials. Start streamlining ya dick heads, I mean you can lower your costs, and pass a few cents of savings onto the consumer. Otherwise, we’ll just download everything. Or is that how you want it? Joan Van Aark Keeps Tearing up my Lawn

Some of my friends tell me “Oh, it must be wonderful living next to a Celebrity”. Sure, that might be true in some cases, I bet living next to Will Arnett and Amy Poehler would be fun. So it depends on who you get stuck with. Me? I get former Knots Landing Star Joan Van Aark. What a pain in the ass. It’s not that she’s a horrible neighbor, she rarely dumps her leaves in my yard anymore after our “Talk”. It’s that she doesn’t understand what it’s like to be a normal regular person anymore. She thinks the rules of Society don’t apply to her. She can be friendly, or she can be a total bitch, especially if that Lifetime Movie of the Week she’s in gets panned. I want to like her, but she makes it difficult. My current problem with her is that she got loaded one night at one of her fancy “Look at me, I’m famous, I saw Corbin Bernsen naked” parties. She got in her car, a beamer, and tore through my lawn. What’s more, even though I saw her do it, she swears it was her Gardner or gophers. What a load. Look Mrs. Van Aark, it was you. I saw you flip me the bird and you yelled “How’s you lawn now HOT SAUCE”. What does that even mean? I don’t know. It might be time to call the Cops or Ted Shackelford. I just want this to stop. Where the Hell did I put my pants?

I can remember when I was about 13 or 14 years old and I went up to the fair/carnival in my hometown. There was this game where you threw a dart at balloons to pop them, and if you popped so many you got a cool mirror. Now the mirror had band names on them, you know Boston, Journey, REO Speedwagon and the like. However, the one I was shooting for was the Van Halen Mirror. It had the classic VH logo on it, and it looked cool. I really wanted that mirror. So I wasted about $5 shooting for it (I think it was 50 cents a pop). I won it and was very excited to take it home and hang it up, I mean Van Halen rules, we all know that. However, while I was walking around, I stopped and showed the mirror to this girl I was going to school with and she told me that I shouldn’t keep it. Here was her reasoning, “Van Halen worships Satan”. I thought to myself, “What? I didn’t hear that, can’t be true”. She was stuck on that idea, and she just had to follow us around the rest of the night. I kept the mirror, although I never hung it up. I was so excited and all it took was for someone to push their idiotic ideas of world onto my happiness for it to die. Little did I know then that, that is what the world is about sometimes. People just love to crap on your happiness. To that girl I say “I hope your case of the clap finally Cleared up…..Julie Toltbridge”. Now that a painful memory has been put to rest, Let’s Rock! The rest of the Interview

Here is the rest of that interview with Joey Esposito about his Comic Footprints: A Monster Murder Mystery. As you might notice there is a part missing from the interview that made it into Episode 107. This is due to the fact that I am an idiot and accidentally cut it instead of copying it. As has been said before by myself and others “Jesus I’m an Idiot”. So if you can, listen to this interview and then listen to the whole Episode 107 for the complete interview. Some might think I did this on purpose to get more people to listen to my show, I do have low self esteem and hate myself but that’s just not the case here. Enjoy the interview then head over to Kickstarter and back Joey’s Comic. Footprints on Kickstarter Joey Esposito Almost Full Interview [ 13:03 ] Play Now | Play in Popup |...
